Fantastic food and large servings. Great drinks and service too. Friendly atmosphere.
The service was good, they get you in and out quickly. The salsa is tasty with a little kick, however the chips were extremely stale and tasteless. Our food came quickly, which is nice when you're on the road. The rice was hard and crunchy, as if it had sat under a warmer for long period of time, the beans had a rancid taste to them and the taco was also very stale with bland chicken. I couldn't finish my meal because it was not very good, and I was pretty sure it had been sitting out for a long time. Not worth the money, would have been better off at Burger King. I have been feeling sick to my stomach for the last half of our drive which is awful when you have nowhere to stop between tonopah and Hawthorne.
Stopped in here last Friday night on the way home. Knocked off a star because the chips and salsa seemed to be store bought. Had both a cheese and shredded beef enchilada, both tasted pretty good. Comes with rice and beans, all for $7.95 -- a really good dinner value! Our server was prompt and attentive and she did a great job! Had a Modelo that was left in a bottle with a slice of lime, no glass. Presumably you can ask for one. Be nice if they simply brought an icy chilled glass or mug for the beer with your drink order. I will return to El Marques again when I'm in Tonapah. If you're driving through town and have a taste for Mexican food, I recommend stopping in for a good meal at a very fair price.
This is the best place to go. We celebrate all our special occasions with them. The owner is fantastic and the staff amazing. Quick with jokes and pays special attention to your needs. Never have to ask for anything. Excellent food and drinks.
Fantastic food. So fresh and tasty. Very friendly and pleasant staff. Was great. Not too many choices in Tonopah but would definitely recommend this place. Will come back when we come through here again
