Excellent 20 minute video, in the only theater in town. Take the self tour for a couple dollars. Don't miss the mule tunnel or looking down the 500' mine shaft.

Phenomenal mining museum. Who knew Nevada had so much gold?
I spontaneously moved out here not having any ties to this place what so ever...found a job same day and meet alot of interesting people...small but comforting little town...alot of neat history and places here to explore and adenture too
Loved the self-guided tour. The 20 minute video was well done and the map explaining the exhibits was also well done. Don't miss standing over the 500' mine shaft and the Mule Tunnel. The staff there are very knowledgable.
