Front desk attendant, Gloria, was so nice and truly a pleasure to deal with. The first room we came to, the door was propped open and the pillows were kind of everywhere. We went back down and Gloria politely got us into another room. This room appeared to be 100 times better.
Small town in the middle of no where. Very nice people. Get gas even if you have half a tank. (You never know how long until you see another gas station ) the Spanish restaurant was amazing.
Only one light was plugged in. When we moved the nightstand between the beds to plug in the alarm clock and light, we discovered tissues and plastic wrap behind it. At this point, we checked underneath the bed as we brought our cat (extra $15 fee, not bad) and discovered more tissue and a few other trash items and what appears to be a prescription pill. At this point, we're too tired from the drive to have to switch rooms again.
Arrived at 3am. Staff was friendly. The hotel is a great experience. Interesting art and artifacts all over the place. Some reviewers might say it's dated, and relative to the city it might be. But the charm of this place is its personality. It's very unique. Got a veggie burger from the attached restaurant. Glad to find vegetarian food. I will look forward to staying there again.
Clean and decent. Paula at the front desk was very sweet and kind. I didn't roll for a free room but it was a good idea. Food was reasonable. Casino was okay and the place was cute with it's 1900 charm.
Yes I liked staying here, it was a large comfortable room. Great food in the restaurant. I will stay here again if ever I come through this way again. Parking for big rig in back but limited space!
Only reason a two star was given is because the front desk attendant Gloria has been nothing but nice and pleasant to speak to!
